It is clearly stated in our nation’s Declaration of Independence that all men, (and women for that matter) are created equal. So students should be able to drive to school in their vehicles just as faculty and staff do. For one, if schools did ban students from driving their cars to school, many students will complain to the school board because their whole purpose of getting a car was to have means of transportation to and from school. That is thousands of dollars wasted on a vehicle you spent your hard earned money on. Students would also complain about this issue because many students wouldn’t want to wake up forty minutes early just to make it to a designated bus stop on time. Just as teachers have a job teaching, students have jobs as well….
Even if that means waking up at six forty-five, knowing that you can make it to school in ten minutes with five minutes to spare before the tardy bell at seven. Another valid reason schools shouldn’t ban students from driving to school is because say a student, who usually drives to school, rides the bus to school and has practice afterward. He must walk home from the school now because the bus doesn’t wait around for two hours to pick up one single student, his parents are at work late, and no one else can drive due to this rule invoked by the school board. All in all, it is more of a hassle to ban kids from driving to school because it is unfair to students who have and pay for their own…
