Today, I am going to be teaching 8th grade and the subject we are going to be talking about English. I have 15 students in my classroom. I have five students who have the ability to work ingroup. I have all my students who have ability levels to work together without having the problem with each other. Then, I have five girls and 10 boys who are in my classroom. I have one student who has Autism, and I have three students who have Learning Disability.
Then, I have ten students who have ELLS in the classroom. Some of my students have socioeconomic status would be that they live in low-income families, some of the students have socioeconomic status would be that they live in middle-class status and then the rest of my students have their parents who have money to pay for their schooling. Some of my students who comes an abused family, having a single parent, having grandmother is taking care of their grandkids when their parents are in jail or prison.
Some of the behavior from my students would be yell out for no reason, a lot of disrespected me as the teacher and walking out of the classroom without permission. Stage 1 The unit title that I am going be teaching in my classroom is How can you define the main character in the story? The subject that Tam going to do is English. The Common Core State Standards would be English Language Arts Standard. I would make sure that the students find the evidence in the story that they are reading. I would explain to the classroom about the informative/explanatory in the story.
I would explain to my students the different ways that would you organized each paragraph. I would make sure that I tell my students to analysis relevant content when they are reading each paragraph. I would ask my students to identify each of the characters in the story. After that, I would give my student a pop-quiz to see what they have learned about reading the story. I would ask my students to write down questions about the story. I will give my students the opportunity to ask the question to their classmates. Also, write down the answer on a piece paper.
Plus, make sure they have the discussion with each other on what information that they have found out. Stage 2 When they come to my classroom I would give them pop-quiz on what they have learned about the story that they have been reading. Also, I would give them the chart of strength, interest, and learn needs. I would let them do an assessment on their selves so I know where we have to work at. I would create a chart about strength, interest, and learning needs on a chart that way I can monitor my students who have the problem with the assignment.
Formative Assessment would be consisting of monitoring our students to see if they know the assignment without the assist from their teacher anyway. Making sure that I give them pop-quiz every day until they know what is going on. Summative Assessment would be giving them essay test to see how they can identify content. “In figure 3. 1 stated the UDL principle, guidelines, and checkpoint that teachers have to follow when it becomes summative assessment” (CAST, 2011). I will use the rubric to see if the student follows the steps. Also, will be using a Timeline to see how much the student knows.

At 8:15am, we are going to do our daily Pop-Quiz on what story we were reading the previous week. At 8:45 am we are going take out our KWL chart and I would ask them to write down what they know, what they wonder, and what have they learned. According to Puckett (2013), say that” the number of students who are getting help from the teacher is showing the teacher how will they set up the test format (Puckett, K, 2013).
Differentiated strategies, tools, or activities that will support teachers’ implementation of the CCSS for English language arts would be teaching them how to read a word that they don’t know, using sight words, writing the word that they don’t know like tens on a piece of paper, using the dictionary to look up the word that they don’t know. Partner them up with one of the peers when they are doing a big project or when they have to read a passage from a story on the worksheet. So, I can know where area I have to work with them on. The two technologies | am going to be using are Ipad and using the white board.
I would make sure that the students go to the correct website when they are doing their paper about their self. Teachers who are teaching them how to read a word that they don’t know, using sight words, writing the word that they don’t know like tens on a piece of paper, using the dictionary to look up the word that they don’t know. So, I can know where area I have to work with them on. The two technologies I am going to be using are Ipad and using the white board. I would make sure that the students go to the correct website when they are doing their paper about their selves.
Using Voice Thread to teach our students so they know what do with their paper. They can use this site when they are doing their presentation. I would make sure that self-regulation strategies use throughout the Unit Plan because it very important for our students to know that we are on their side. I think that differentiated show users how to teach our students who have the problem in their family and school. Conclusion, I think that teachers have the big responsibility to make Unit Plan. When I was doing my Unit Plan.
I was just thinking about how will I make Unit Plan for 8th grade who are going off to High School. So I was thinking that English is most important that 8th grade would have to go through in High School. I think that Differentiated and UDL is very important to our teachers and students. Because the teacher would have changed their Unit Plan with someone who having the problem with an assignment. I think that pre-assessment, formative assessment, summative assessment is very important so we as the teacher can see what kind of progress that the student made through time they were in the classroom.
