Debt can be a very challenging thing to deal with. Some people react better than others. It’s reported that people in debt have more stress, depression, physical, and social issues. If you can’t cope with the fact that you are dealing with debt, you are more than likely going to get worse. The results of you getting worse can be lead to harming yourself and your body and possibly death. Being in debt can be very mentally stressful. Which can lead to worse things. Mental health is growing more and more as debt increases.

According to the wellness group recent studies have shown that debt and financial insecurity are linked to mental health issues that have a long-lasting impact on health and wellness. Major life changes such as retirement or unemployment can cause financial hardship. They also say that People with good coping techniques can manage periods of financial uncertainty relatively well with few mental or physical side effects. This means that if we can figure out how to control our coping techniques will be better off. Stress is a main issues when it comes to being in debt.

You need to be able to manage your stress or you will just get worse and worse which can lead to future issues. Stress is one of the biggest mental health issues right now. Stress can cause many things such as anxiety or depression. Stress can affect your relationships and your health. A few Signs that may indicate that you are dealing with financial stress, difficulty sleeping, feeling angry or fearful, mood swings, tiredness, muscle pain, loss of appetite, and withdrawing from others. You need to be able to accept their help and understand that they are trying to help you not hurt you. Being in debt will cause you to be stressed and if you can’t cope with the stress worse things will come. Health is something you might think would be affect because of debt but it will and it can be fatal if not handled. Your relationships will be gone if you can’t fix the problem or if you shut everyone out. Being in debt can be a catastrophic thing and if you can avoid it that would be best. If you can’t though just make sure you have ways to get through it without hurting yourself or your family and everything will be ok.
