Facing a Tough Situation
In my life, in your life, we are going to come up upon to a thought situations. When I faced my first thought situation, I was not quite sure how to react. I was not quite sure how to handle it or help. “My son was chocking with a hotdog” it was the scariest day of my life. Hotdogs are one-off the most dangerous foods for children to eat. Since then, my life changed and I realized how important is to know CPR guidelines to help someone when help is need it.
It was an ordinary day; my husband was mowing the yard and my son helping him to pick up the grass. My younger daughter was playing around the house, and my older daughter doing homework. My son was only three years old at the time of the accident and I still remember…

A child without breathing for more than 2 minutes his brain can be affected and not breathing for more than 5 minutes can cause dead. He was then sent to the Cook’s Children Hospital and after two days in critical care, the doctor released him.
Reflecting on this situation, I consider myself blessed for having a son that survived an accident with a hotdog. My life have changed in many ways. One is the way I treat my children in particular my son. He is a miracle of God. After this accident, another thing that I learned is how important is to be prepared for this kind of accidents, one never know when help needs it. A person may have only few seconds to save a life when an accident occurred. To learn the CPR guidelines can be crucial on a person’s…
