Art is an important part of culture. Art includes music, singing, dancing, poetry, and sketching. Art makes the world more beautiful. Art can be classified in many different ways. Art can be classified by what is used to make it such as paint or clay. Art can also be categorized by the artistic technique used such as sculpture or drawing. Art is normally categorized by the culture that it comes from. Art can also be classified by how it is made, including painting, drawing, and sculpting. Art can be many different things to many different people because each person has their own definition of what art is.

Most of today’s popular music originated from folk songs developed in Europe during the Middle Ages [500-1450 AD]. In [500-1450], most folk songs had lyrics known as sung poetry. This form of song consisted of a single lyricist who was also a musician singing a cappella with a background melody or instrumental accompaniment played on a bagpipe or hurdy-gurdy. These early songs were spread across Europe through traveling singers and minstrels. Art music was influenced by both sacred and folk music. Art music composers included Jean-Philippe Rameau [1683-1764], Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart [1756-1791], and John Philip Sousa [1854 -1932].

I have always loved music because there are so many different genres that fit my every mood and I love singing because you don’t have to have an amazing voice like in some cases with music and it is a great way to express yourself. Music and Art go hand in hand because both Art and Music can make you feel emotions that words cannot. Art allows us to paint pictures with our hands, while music paints pictures on the canvas of your mind with sound waves.

Art and Music are the beauty within our souls that we reveal for all to see. Art is very important in the everyday lives of people especially children; they learn different crafts by watching their parents or teachers showing them how to paint or draw a specific object or an image so they can develop their motor skills at a young age. Art is also important when it comes to self-esteem, everyone likes being acknowledged for their work so Art makes it possible for you to do so.

Art therapy is the use of Art in mental health care providing a way for patients to communicate their problems through Art. Art Therapy helps people by allowing them to discover their own unique expressions and creativity, this helps them deal with conflict resolution, reduce stress, depression and anxiety; Art Therapy helps people express themselves which in turn can help them understand themselves better. People need Art not only because it shows us beautiful things but also because Art allows us to be ourselves even when there are many different versions of ourselves.

Art lets us realize that we are never alone and that every artist is like every human being; they all experience pain and pleasure which makes them connect on a deep level with others around them or with whoever comes across their Art. Art is a way of showing your soul, thoughts and ideas to people which can be very powerful if done in the right way. Art has the power to change people’s lives for the better by giving them hope that there is beauty in this world even when it seems dark. Art makes our life beautiful.

Music touches me on a deep level because no matter what mood I am in or how I feel music feels like an escape from reality but also lets you see things differently it takes you to places that words cannot explain or express, Music showcases feelings and emotions through sound waves which make it easier for people to understand themselves better. Music helps us relieve stress relax after an emotionally tiring day or simply help us fall asleep. Music is a universal language and has the power to create bonds with people even if we don’t speak the same language.
