The role of women in society has been widely overseen in the last few decades but now are coming to a stronger viewpoint of people. In the film “A Knight’s Tale” women were seen as objects and only looked upon for their beauty and attributes. In the film women didn’t really speak much they were just made to sit and look pretty as they were viewed. Medieval England was not an ideal place for women to be. Most of the women were unhappy in this era due to the men living harsh lives. Only a few of the women were happy, in medieval society men were the dominant women were expected to “stay in their place”.
