Harm reduction is the approach of making drug using safer people who use drugs. It helps to make drug usage cleaner since it’s deeming harder and harder to actually stop one from using drugs. This approach educates users on the effects of drug usage and gives them other options when seeking help to get off drugs. There are a few underlying assumptions to the harm reduction approach.
