Apparently travelling by foot isn’t great enough anymore, or people are bored and decide to bike extended distances carrying a backpack. It evolved nonetheless, all are very happy about it. Biking gets you much further, quicker. You may stick to the route, or decide to get off trail and rest in a hotel while the rain begins to pour. The feeling of riding on the bike with everything you require and a little money grants you a nice feeling of liberty, no uncertainties, simply you and the trail ahead. The best thing is that you won’t have to fret about a car zooming across you, unlike touring on chief highways.
