The Cold war saw the introduction of new material and the drastic change in technology. There were monumental differences between this war and the second World War. The main difference was the use of technology and a host of different weaponry. It was a period of time in which technological developments symbolized power- a great amount of power. The cold war was a war of sour treatment between the US and the USSR; the Western Bloc and the Eastern Bloc respectively. Both nations were aware of the increase of the use of weapons and used that to determine the nation’s’ destructive power.
