Essay about Pros And Cons Of Animal Cloning

“The issue should never be about the extinction of any animal, it should always be about the cruelty and exploitation which will lead to their extinction,” unknown. Each and every animal on earth has as much right to be here as you, me, and of all humanity. Scientists have found a way to clone extinct species. The thought of that sounds amazing and really exciting, but think about it another way. If we bring back no longer existing animals, us humans will do what we do best, which is changing nature and destroying it, basically killing them for money or being greedy for food.

According to text “no,” there are already many living things becoming extinct many times faster than normal. Why would we worry about animals who are already long gone when there are many other things that are important to the environment that we need to care about? Another reason why we should not bring them back is because our Earth has changed significantly since they were alive. Having them back would change many things. Lastly, education costs lots of money. Imagine doing a research on bringing back wiped out animals.

Who is going to pay for all of this? Therefore, deextinction is not going to work out for these reasons. Countless amounts of species go extinct every day. It is usually around 15-200 of plants, insects, birds, and mammals are permanently gone from our world. This is sad and devastating that our earth is going downhill really quick from us human beings. We destroy trees, plants, and kill animals just for currency or things that we think we would need, but we really do not. We are greedy mammals that only care about ourselves and only ourselves.

We kill everything natural. We are so destructive to Mother Nature to the point that things that are important and are a necessity to us are gone forever. So, what is the point in bringing them back if we are going to destroy and kill them again? Honestly, that is just wasting a large amount of time and energy. Another thing to add to that is how are we sure they would survive in the wild? Yeah, us humans would kill it, but what article “No” says, we do not know if they can adjust to their old/new habitat.

The earth has obviously changed drastically since the day the species were alive. To make things a bit worse, we polluted the air and trashed everything, These things cannot survive. Things also changed constantly on our earth. Maybe the change in their environment could have led to their extinction. We can not be sure if they will survive for long. They are not used to our new world. Again, there is not really a point in having to do all of this work in cloning something if it might die in less than a second.

Why waste your time again? So much money and work going straight to the trash. Finally, money is a really big part of our world. It is everywhere. It is pretty funny how much paper from a tree determines our lives and future. Once more, people are greedy, so are organizations and companies so who is going to pay for all of this? With this kind of knowledge of cloning animals and such takes lots of time, patience, energy, and studying. Scientists do not do things just for the fun of it and of how cool it is.

They want the pieces of paper that lets them get what they want. Considering the effort for this and how many people are involved in the organization can costs more than millions. I do not think the government would be generous and pay the research for it. If scientists focus on bringing back animals and species, there would be less money and fewer people to study our world problems today such as cancers, diseases, and what text “No” says, how we can prevent other animals from wiping out.

Yeah, sure, some people do want them to come back. There are a lot of pros to it like what text “Yes” claims, there will be new answers for science, we can get back Earth’s old natural environments back, and it may inspire people to protect our land to keep these animals on the planet. There would be many more benefits for this. When we get answers, we can learn how animals evolved and how they survived. For example, sea creatures turn into land animals. We can also get old environments back that date back in 1650 BC.

We can do this by having wooly mammoths back. It is amazing at what we could do. To sum things up, we can encourage people to care for our planet because of these newly old creatures and it would fascinate them. Back to the topic, animals should not be brought back. Our environment changes every second of the day. How will they adjust to their new territory? Furthermore, what about today’s problems? Why are we going to completely ignore the fact we do not have cures for diseases, having problems with our planet, and many more things.

Why not fix our planet first then we can worry about other things? On top of that, there are already many species going extinct faster than they usually do. Why worry about the ones who passed when we can save those right now? It would be a much better idea to think about this later on in the future. We need to secure our troubles at the moment then worry about it. So, for all of these reasons, this is why de-extinction is a bad action point, for this time anyways. Therefore, this is why we should not bring back animals who have gone.
