Living in a country known for its freedom, an individual wouldn’t stop and consider that they would need a law to be passed to marry someone they love. In the most recent poll over whether or not gay marriage should be legalized has been taken you can see that the united states supports it more than oppose it:

In my day times were more traditional and that’s what we took to be normal. A man and a woman was natural. I was raised in the church and marriage was defined as a man and a woman. What I say is traditional, isn’t traditional in this time period anymore. I personally wouldn’t be for it but I’m not going to judge other people on their choices. It’s difficult to let go of how your beliefs were when you were brought up, even if you are Christian or not. It’s hard not to judge but it teaches in the Bible what is and what isn’t a sin, you can’t pick and choose. You either live by the Bible or you don’t. I believe what I believe affects me because it says in the Bible no sin is bigger than another sin and that goes back to where we can’t judge others by their choices. If I were to vote I would have voted against it based on my faith. I think it took Oklahoma so long to pass the law because this part of the country is called the `Bible Belt` so there’s more Christian people and we stand on what the Bible says. This country was built on “In God we trust” and I will stand by that. There’s only one judge and that’s the Lord, we all have to stand in front of him in the end…
