I am sure that you enjoyed the service on this morning. I will not be before you long but I just wanted to talk Just Because.

The reason that you are here for this meeting is that you have all been selected to work in leadership roles in the church. Though you serve in the position at OBC, this opportunity should never be taken lightly because God orchestrated it. As a leader in the ministry, there should be a continually question of “Am I pleasing God and operating at a level of excellence that He would be pleased with in this role.”…

In trying to view the event in the carnal sense, the purpose can become derailed. We have to view this event from the spiritual perspective. This event has not occurred for I know over ten years. This is a message that was relayed that our leader needed us. The message was given clearly and it is our responsibility to be obedient and receive it because it does not occur often. The flesh many times wants to analyze and pick things a part but it is not our task to try to question or figure out why, it is to move and through prayer and fasting make it come to pass. When we start to understand that, it is about ministry and the spiritual aspect and not man and the physical aspect we all are victorious. Of course there will be some will say, ”This is not about the spiritual realm it’s about money and to that I say, the enemy never sends a message that is going to encourage the man of…

He is the leader here on earth that God had assigned us to be under in ministry. This is a man who is a Leader, Teacher, Father, Husband, Counselor, arbitrator and the list can go continue for pages. He loves God, his family and this church. He has sacrificed time with his wife, kids, holidays, vacations, sports events, first steps not because it is his job but because it is his lifelong ministry. This is a labor of love. I ask you today to think about him and his service and if you, me all of us are making his way easier by holding up his arms in the spiritual sense.
