In four years when I read this I honestly won’t be surprised if nothing really changes. I can’t see myself changing in any major ways. I will always love sports, hunting, fishing guns and anything that has four wheels. I sure I will still not understand the point of reading books for school and writing long papers about things that I don’t exactly care or relate to me. Although, in order for this letter to do it’s job in four years I need to start from the beginning. Everyone has dreams, hopes and fears when they get to high school anyone who says they don’t are liars.
My biggest dream for my high school career is like any other guys I’m sure, to win the State Championship in football. My hopes have been the same for years. I have asked my parents for a four-wheeler, a Rzr, and a new boat. I say those are my hopes because it’s been four years since I was promised a four-wheeler and I still don’t have a four-wheeler. What do I fear most? Failure. I don’t want to let anyone down. Personally, I like wholam. I focus on sports and school. I get what I need to done and according to the ELT list called everyday not many people have gotten that figure out by their freshman year.
Perhaps things will change, but for now | am content. What bothers me most is when someone who doesn’t put in the work during the off-season. This paper Mrs. Meyers gave us with all the questions we have to answer the last question for this paragraph is who am I. Well, thats simple | am Carter. Enough about my aspirations and sentimental stuff. I am willing to bet my room is the exact same. I am not real big on change. My room has looked the same since we put it together. From my bed to all of my dressers. My bed is in the center of my room on the left side is my desk on the right is my night stand.
My duck calls sit on my lamp and my pheasant feathers on my night stand. I don’t think I will move because we built this house it would be pointless to move. I don’t have a favorite book, but I do have a few of my favorite games such as Black Ops, Madden 16, and Halo. Right now we have two dogs. The two dogs we have are Ace, brown lab, and Bella, a teddy bear. Nicki was our black lab, but, we put her down not too long ago. I listen to country and hip hop music depending on my mood. My home life is pretty usual. So are most my hobbies. My hobbies include hunting, fishing, playing sports.
I am in a sport all year round. My season starts in the summer with baseball. Then it transitions to football, basketball, and baseball, then it starts over again. When I am alone, I usually watch Youtube videos on trucks or something along those lines. With my friends depends the season we are all usually pretty busy so if we aren’t on the court or field we are eating or playing games. I don’t go on vacation often and if I do it is for hunting out west. My favorite drink is Mountain Dew or Brisk. I think liking Mountain Dew runs in the family.
Speaking of my family I have three sisters and one brother not counting in-laws. My oldest sister Makayla is married to John. John’s cool because he likes to play basketball too. Now Christa just got married to Cory he’s my favorite, no offense to John, but, Cory likes guns and hunting and as a bonus, he has a snowmobile. My older brother, Colin, is going to college to be an engineer, although I very often question his methods of doing things, I think he will do well. Colin and I get along pretty well because we share a lot of the same interests.
My little sister, Kianna, on the other hand, I can’t say the same for. We don’t exactly get along. She is so spoiled and always gets what she wants. Someone else in my life that I pretty much consider family is Stasia. She’s dating my brother, but she is honestly at my house more than I am. She’s not too bad she buys me food and I give her rides our process seems to work out. I admire and respect Stephen Curry because although he is rich and famous he is a family man. I want to be like that when I have a family. Stephen Curry also works hard at anything he goes.
The future seems far away now but everyone tells me it goes by so fast. Although, in the future, I imagine I will be 6’2 and jacked. I am already as big as my older brother and I am only a freshman. I am looking forward to being an upperclassmen for sports. Although, I am dreading where the government and where they are going with firearm control. This year I will be getting a summer job and playing baseball. It has been hard with sports, but I think I found a job that is flexible. My goals in life are to be happy and do the best I can. Sincerely,
