Persuasive Essay: Can We Change In Our Schools

What can we change in our schools in this world today students aren’t do as much work as they are supposed to, or passing all their classes as they are supposed to. Students these days don’t even care how their grades are doing because they think they can’t do anything once they get in middle school kids just give up just because the work gets harder. And the teachers don’t care as much they aren’t taking as much time to work the problem out more or explain the work better they are making learning harder for kids these day. Teachers these days is not making an effort to help their students pass or understand the problem.

They only teach half the stuff from what they are needing to. And only a third said they were trained in common core. They aren’t trying there hardest to help the students pass since they are not trying the students feel like they don’t have to try! Teachers who don’t care are failing students because they are not taking time to work on a plain for the class and students get bored. Students are being set up to fail because teachers are not prepared for class. In New York 70 percent of elementary and middle school students didn’t pass the state test because the teachers were not prepared to teach.

Students can’t be expected to pass a test without ever learning the material first. Only a third of the teachers where trained in common core. 2/3of teachers were never taught / trained to be prepared to tech the material to their students. They are likely to cover at least some material that has yet to make its way into the curriculum. Many tests may include material that students will not learn, it’s not even in their curriculum. When teachers are not prepared to teach mandated material, few students would be prepared to pass the mandated test.

Students are bored ecause teachers are not taking time to make the lesson interesting. In the 20/20 show stupid in America a test was given to students in Belgium and students at the average for the America students was at 47%. Students are getting bored because the stuff they are learning is not fun or means anything to them. Most Japanese high school graduated have studied chemistry, physics and calculus in high school most American students avoided these courses. Most American students avoid these courses because they mostly don’t know how to do it or its two boring for them.

Students are getting bored because the teachers are not making it interesting for them. Teachers who don’t the class more interesting. Accounting for 31 percent of the classroom was labeled, “positive emotional climate, low academic demands”. This means that in classrooms no one pretty much knows what they are doing. They take it to mean that they need to make their instructions more complex more involved more verbose which is a major reason why students don’t progress. The teachers are taking the easy stuff and making it harder for them to learn.

The teachers are expecting the students to know what they are doing when they are making it hard. Teachers are not challenging there students. Such students who may become bored in the classroom because they’ve already learned the material or have the lack of motivation to excel often need other incentives to try harder because of teens needs for independents and new experiences. When a student thinks they know it already they will shut down and not listen to anything new. Ricky Neil also believes giving total effort in school in not worth the stress because he has already got into college.

Ricky Neil doesn’t think he needs to learn anymore stuff the school is trying to teach because he already got into college. Because students aren’t being taught anything new to challenge there self they think they know it all. Some people may believe students are failing because they are distracted. Because the teachers get mixed up with what they are saying and they can get distracted with the materials that’s in the room. The teachers don’t really know what they are saying half the time and they get confused with their own words so students so students will start passing notes or drawing.

If the lesson gets a little boring they will start too focused on everything else in the room. The students will get really bored and not want to pay ation because they teacher can’t explain what he is talking about they would start to go to sleep and then they will get behind on their work and notes and not know what’s going on, the assignme nment the teacher is giving. People are blaming the students for getting distracted when it’s the teachers fault for making the lesion boring and not explaining anything to the foulest ability as they can. How can we get teachers to care?

Baluch’s (1998), Deiros (1996) and nodding’s (1992) research on caring demunstrucks that when students retrieve there grads and behavior are positive influenced. When the teacher shows they care the student starts to work harder. Little extra help with work after school can help them so much. Teachers can show they care by staying after school with their students to help them with their work. Teachers need to work more with their students to make sure there are understanding what they are supposed to do. Why don’t teachers care how there students are doing.

Students are being set up to fail in their classes, students are bored in class because teachers are being inefficient and are not talking there time to to make the lesson more interesting, and teachers are not changing their students for the better. Why don’t teachers care how there class is doing don’t they know they need there help to make something of their selfs in this world what if we want to math motions but they can’t because just because there teachers don’t care they think they can’t do anything. Let help the teachers care.
