I want to be a nurse because I have always been drawn to the field of healthcare. Ever since I was a little girl, I have been fascinated by the human body and how it works. I have always been interested in helping others, and nursing is a perfect way to do that.
Nursing is a demanding profession, but it is also incredibly rewarding. Nurses make a difference in the lives of their patients every day, and I am excited to be able to join their ranks. I believe that nursing is a calling, and I am ready to answer that call.
If you are considering a career in nursing, I encourage you to pursue it. It will be challenging, but it will also be one of the most rewarding experiences of your life. I’ve had the desire to be an RN since I was a youngster, since I was a kid I’ve always wanted to be a nurse. Since then, other possibilities have entered my mind, such as being a teacher or a police officer, but being a nurse has remained at the top of my list as a great profession. My mother inspired me to want to be a nurse when I was young; she is currently the director of nursing for Bakersfield Heart.
So, nursing has always been around me and it just seemed like a great career. Also, the more I thought about it nursing seemed like it was my calling in life.
Nursing is not only a great career, but a very rewarding one as well. Everyday you get to help people and make a difference in their lives, even if it’s just a small difference. It’s also a very stable career, there will always be a need for nurses. With the baby boomer generation getting older nursing is going to be in high demand over the next 20-30 years.
So if you are looking for a stable career nursing is definitely the way to go. Nursing is also a very diverse field, there are so many different areas you can go into. You can be a bedside nurse, work in the ER, ICU, OR, working with kids, the list goes on and on.
So if you are looking for a career that is stable, rewarding, and has endless opportunities nursing is the way to go. I am very excited to start my nursing career and make a difference in people’s lives.
When I was a youngster, she ascended from floor nurse to charge nurse to director of her floor to house supervisor to assistant director and now the CEO. I can clearly picture her retiring as the president of this institution. Now, I’m not sure whether or not I’d want to do all of that, but I believe it’s possible for me go from being a floor nurse to a charge nurse before becoming the director of the floor.
Nursing has always been a stable career. There will always be a need for nurses. I have seen firsthand how much my mom loves her job, and how much she has been able to help people. I want to be able to have that same feeling. I want to be able to help people when they are at their most vulnerable, and nursing is the perfect way to do that.
I decided to go into nursing after seeing an ad on TV for a teachers’ assistant position at St. Mary’s Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. I thought it was something similar to what I did in my previous job as an Emergency Room Technician, so when the opportunity came up again, I went for it! While studying Art Education at the University of Phoenix online program,
I soon decided that nursing was my true passion, and I went back to school to get my nursing degree. I have now been a nurse for 5 years, and absolutely love it! It is the most rewarding career I could have ever chosen.
Soon after I started working in the ER, I knew that this is what I was meant to do. The nurses around me were so compassionate and loving towards their patients, and it made me want to help people too. Seeing the smiles on patients’ faces when they felt better warmed my heart, and I decided then and there that nursing will be my career.
It was a great feeling, and I knew that this is something that I could do for the rest of my life. I am currently in nursing school and working towards my degree, and I know that once I have it I will be able to help people in ways that I never thought possible. This is why I want to be a nurse, because nursing is not just a job, it’s a calling, and I know that I have been called to nursing.
There was something special about being by the bedside that compelled me to want to do more. Being a tech is and has always been fantastic, but I want more; I want to be in command of the code rather than just a part of it when a trauma victim comes in or a coded patient arrives. Even though I know CPR now will allow me to move the medicine through their body, I want to be the one who pushes epinephrine so that they may return.
There is no feeling like it. I want to be the one that makes a difference, that is why I want to be a nurse. I see how much my nursing staff does day in and day out, they are absolutely amazing people, and I want to join their ranks. They make such a huge impact on so many lives every single day, and I want to help too. There are so many different aspects of nursing that appeal to me as well, from the patient care side, to the research side, there is just so much opportunity to make a real difference in this world as a nurse.
So many people told me that becoming a nurse was one of the best decisions they ever made, and I can see why. It is an amazing profession with so much to offer, and I am excited to start my nursing journey.
