I have always believed, and probably always will, that no day is perfect. Something always goes wrong, whether it’s big or small. Anyone who says something is perfect either doesn’t know what they’re talking about or is overlooking a lot of things.
Life is never perfect, but we can try to make it as close to perfect as possible. I wake up at 8:00 am on a Saturday morning, well-rested and full of energy. I start my day by going for a run outside, enjoying the fresh air and getting some exercise. I come back home and take a nice, long shower. I spend some time getting ready for the day, doing my hair and makeup and picking out the perfect outfit.
I head out for breakfast with my friends at a local cafe. We chat and laugh over coffee and pancakes. After breakfast, we go exploring around the city. We check out some new shops, grab ice cream, and people watch.
In the afternoon, I head home for a little break. I read my favorite book in the sun, lounge around outside, and take a nap. In the evening, I meet up with more friends for dinner and drinks. We have a great time catching up and laughing together. I head home at a reasonable hour, feeling happy and satisfied with my day.
Even though this day is close to perfect, there are still a few things that could make it better. For example, I wished I had more time to spend with my friends. Maybe next time we can make plans for a weekend getaway instead of just a day in the city. Overall, though, I had a great day and am looking forward to many more like it.
For me, a wonderful summer day always starts off my day well. Even if the heat nearly kills me every time I go outside, it is still a good day. There is no school to worry about, so I can sleep in late and my mother is fine with it. In fact, during the summer months, I become nocturnal. When I go to bed at nine in the morning, it’s four in the afternoon; when I wake up it’s nine o’clock in the morning. By this time of day, the house becomes quite quiet until I turn on some music.
This is the time of day when I have the house to myself and can do whatever I please. I’ll start by making myself some breakfast. This usually consists of waffles, bacon, eggs, and iced tea. I’ll watch a little bit of TV as I eat and then begin my day. The first order of business is always to check my email and see if there are any new messages. Once that is done I will go outside and work on my tan for a little while. After that it’s time for a swim. My pool is always refreshing and it’s a great way to cool off in the heat.
After my swim I’ll come back inside and take a shower. Then I’ll get dressed and see if there are any plans for the day. If not, I’ll just relax and watch TV or read a book. I might even take a nap. The afternoon usually consists of hanging out with friends and doing whatever we feel like. This could be anything from going to the movies to playing video games.
As the day comes to an end I’ll make dinner. This is usually something simple like grilled chicken or pasta. After dinner I’ll spend some time with my family and then go to bed. That’s my perfect day! Life is good.
Depending on my mood, I enjoy different kinds of music. Having supper an hour later is always welcome, especially if it’s Chinese cuisine. Chinese is one of my all-time favorite cuisines. Getting out of bed in the morning is typically a fantastic idea.
Life is good. Life is beautiful. Life is what you make it. Life is what you dream it to be. Life is what you want it to be. Life can be anything you want it to be. You just have to want it bad enough and go out and get it.
I wake up in my comfortable king size bed, with my cat sleeping next to me purring softly. I stretch lazily and take a deep breath before getting up. I head to my kitchen where I start a pot of coffee brewing, sit down at the table, and begin browsing the internet on my laptop while I wait for my coffee to finish brewing. Once it’s ready, I pour myself a cup and take it back to my bedroom where I get dressed for the day.
I head out of my apartment and walk to my car, enjoying the fresh air and sunny weather. I unlock my car and get in, start the engine, and back out of my parking spot. I put on some music and begin singing along as I drive to my destination for the day.
I spend a couple hours at my destination, running errands or taking care of business, before heading back home. Once I’m home, I make myself a healthy lunch and sit down to eat at my kitchen table. After lunch, I take my cat for a walk around the block.
Once we’re back inside, I settle down on the couch with my laptop to do some work. I take a break after a couple hours to watch some TV and relax for a bit. I make dinner later on and eat at the kitchen table with my cat, who has been curled up next to me on the couch the whole time.
After dinner, I spend some time talking on the phone with friends or family. Once I’m done talking, I take a long hot shower and get ready for bed. I crawl into bed, snuggle up with my cat, and fall asleep contentedly, dreaming of my perfect day.
