Similar to other students, each of my five strengths has a significant influence on my life at Grace as well as my studies. First of all, being an achiever clearly empowers me to pursue my dream of becoming a teacher. A few of the characteristics of an achiever are great stamina, productive, and a hard worker; these will definitely benefit me in the coming years. Also, this strength will aid me in my goal of attaining good grades during my college time. No matter what, I always put my best effort into my work. I generally do what is asked of the teacher/professor without even thinking as well as do anything necessary in order to pay attention to what is being taught which more than likely will be an advantage for me.
In addition to having achiever as a characteristic, I also have relator. This strength will become more apparent as I make new friends. I tend to have fewer friends, but those relationships are also deeper in meaning. I do not like just being surface friends with someone; I want a real connection. This one was harder for me to actually see in my life, but after some contemplating I finally realized it is perfect when concerning my personal relationships. I am always trying to help others, no matter the cost to myself. No matter what it is someone needs help with (homework, relationship advice, etc…) I am always willing to help. I would rather have others benefit over something than myself. I believe that this is one reason I am supposed to become a teacher. After all, what better way is there to help children than to teach them? Humanity needs to believe in themselves and each other more in order to achieve anything.
