Lebron James: The Best NBA Player

All great athletes have some quality about them that stands out. Michael Jordan, the greatest player to ever play, had a tremendous work ethic and he could jump to the moon if he wanted to, Magic Johnson was the best team player, had the greatest team work, he was known for his assist, he would pass the ball and people wouldn’t even know where it went until the next play. They all have something that makes their team better and makes them stand out. Lebron James is known as the king of the NBA, he is 6’8, about 250 LBs and makes playing in the league look easy.

Lebron’s ability to score, play defense, get rebounds, and be a team player has lead him to be the king and the league’s MVP four times. Lebron is the most dominant player on the court in every game and against any team. His stats tell it best, they sound unstoppable, 27. 2 points per game, 7. 2 rebounds, and 6. 9 assist and he has managed to pass Michael Jordan in MVP awards. Shaquille O’neal aka Shaq is basically a giant he was 7’1 and 350 pounds, he had no choice but to be unstoppable. Shaq couldn’t dribble, however he was an above average shooting center.

His main thing was he was unstoppable in the paint and there was no getting by him on defense. As a center he averaged 23. 7 points, 10. 7 rebounds, and 3. 6 blocks a game. Shaq ended up being third in field goal percentages with 58. 6%. He was an unstoppable player who scored like a shooting guard, played defense like a small forward, grabbed rebounds like a center and got blocks like a power forward. Kevin Durant actually has the title of being unstoppable and has had it for the last three years.

Along with Lebron James, K. D has an outstanding size for the N. B. A, he’s been in the league about five years, he already has an MVP award, and has been an all-star all five years. With his unstoppable size and ability his stats just flood in like there isn’t any other choice. All of these players have traits that cannot be stopped and they are some of the best players in the league. They do not always have to be the shiftiest players or be able to shoot and make it whenever they want to, although there are some pretty amazing players in the league that can do that. There are a lot of players in the league that do not have the size, but they have different traits that make them elite players.

Klay Thompson is about 6’7 and can shoot the blood out of a ball, If he gets hot he will not miss from anywhere on the court. Klay averages about 22. 1 points in the season, and some games he will put about 40 along with his splash brother Steph Curry. Klay Thompson could take over a game in a second if he wanted to and he has. Klay and the Golden State Warriors were down in a game against the Oklahoma City Thunder and the camera went to him and a light bulb came on in his head, he lifted his head up , took his forearms off of his thighs and went back on the court in a serene way.

They got a turnover and he sprinted down the court and pulled up behind the three point line and it hit the back of the rim and fell through the net. That shot had to start something new, every time he came down court he could catch and shoot, could bring the ball down and pull up, either way it was going in and they ended up winning the game. That was not the only game he’s done that , he has multiple games where he was 70% or higher from the three point line. As said earlier Steph and Klay are the dynamic duo. Steph is the best jump shooter in the league right now and he puts up 40 plus points in games.

Steph has the record for most three point shots made in a season right now, he can come down court and pull up at the most unexpected moments and that is one of the big reasons he got the MVP award last year. Steph made 402 three pointers in his last season for the record of most three’s in a season. Kobe Bryant is a hall of famer now and a former shooting guard for the Lakers. Kobe had a lot of games where he couldn’t miss and he was just unstoppable in every way. His most memorable game was his 81 point game. The Lakers were down by as many as 18 points in the third quarter and Kobe just lost all patience.

He put up 51 points after the Trail Blazers were up 63-49 and he was 60. 3 percent from the field, 41% percent threes. Kobe wasn’t a come down and pull up type player; he was the type of player that if he is open he won’t miss and when he took risky shots you could count on him to make it. He was totally unstoppable and his three’s just added to the madness. Point guards and shooting guards cannot possibly be good without the handles. Kyrie Irving would have to be the best point guard in the league, his handles are unguardable, he can shoot the ball like it’s nothing.

Alongside of Lebron James, Kyrie would put up no less than 20 points against any opponent. In game 6 of the finals, he managed to make Steph Curry stumble backwards during a comeback with a clutch three to win the game. Damian Lillard made his name in the last two years ,He made everybody go crazy about Dame when he made that three to win the game in the playoffs. His handles are so fundamentally sound and almost perfect that it enables him to drive and have athletic finishes. Dame is shifty and it seems that he can trick all of his defenders and make a play afterwards.

Allen Iverson was the best guard to play the game of basketball. His handles were fierce and people would not want to guard him. The handles made him a very iconic player; two of his most memorable moments are when the 76ers were up against the Bulls and Allen Iverson came down court and Michael Jordan came up on him, Allen sized him up, crossed over one time as a hesitant, went under his legs and crossed over one more time and Michael swung his arm and turned his body the wrong way and Allen pulled up and made the shot. Allen also managed to make Tyronn Lue fall by crossing over into a step back and made the three.

His most memorable moments involved his unstoppable handles. These guards would not be the players they are without their tremendous handles, they not only enable them to get past a defender easily , but it enables them to make plays also. All of the greatest and unguardable players in the N. B. A have these abnormal traits about them that make them the great players they are. These players would not be who they are if they didn’t have the size, work ethic, and ability ; for instance lebron’s size makes him unstoppable, steph’s three point shots, and kyrie’s handles make them the incredible players they are.
